My 2015 competition season is now underway, but we have only 1 competition under our belt so far. Greg and I made our Advanced Medium debut last weekend and it went much better than expected, especially considering I chose the hardest advanced medium there is!!! We scored an encouraging 65% and came third in a massive class so I was rather chuffed… Lots to work on, but it’s a great feeling to have made a start. We are going to concentrate on able bodied tests until the Regionals at the end of February when I will switch our attention to the new Para season before the Para Nationals in March.

Ed’s training is going really well. We have taken him out in the lorry a few times to get him back in the swing of things and he has been somewhat fresh! He doesn’t do anything naughty, but he seems to think he’s a stallion again and his feet don’t touch the ground for the first 20 minutes… Lets just say, he certainly rises to the occasion, but a little less showing off is in order before I take him anywhere! Zoe can only compete from Elementary so we are going to wait till he is ready at that level before she takes him to his first competition, but hopefully that won’t be long.
